UK Arranges Flight for British Nationals to Evacuate Lebanon.Cau

The UK government has chartered a flight from Lebanon for British nationals seeking to leave amid escalating violence, as Foreign Secretary David Lammy emphasized the situation’s volatility. The flight, scheduled for Wednesday, prioritizes vulnerable individuals and requires British nationals and their dependents to pay a fee of £350 per seat. With ongoing Israeli airstrikes and a limited ground operation against Hezbollah, the situation remains critical, prompting officials to urge British citizens to evacuate. There are approximately 4,000 to 6,000 UK nationals in Lebanon, and further flights will depend on demand and security conditions.
