The indictment, unsealed on September 17, accuses Combs of running a criminal enterprise involving sex trafficking and abuse, with evidence including a surveillance video of him assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016.

Prosecutors claim that Combs engaged in various illicit activities, including bribing hotel staff to conceal his actions. Agnifilo defended Combs, questioning the relevance of evidence like the thousands of bottles of baby oil seized during the investigation, and insisted that the case centers on just one victim. Currently, Combs is awaiting trial in a high-profile unit of New York City’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
