“It was weird because we didn’t know he was dead for, like, three weeks,” the former “Saturday Night Live” star said of his firefighter dad, Scott Davidson.

 

 

“My dad told me he was going to pick me up from school on 9/11. I got picked up by my mom. She didn’t tell me what was going on for like three days,” the actor and comedian, 29, told host Jon Bernthal in an episode on the “Real One”. Pete Davidson remains focused on “bettering his mental health”.

 

 

The 30-year-old comedian checked into a mental wellness facility in July and despite suggestions that he could soon resume his stand-up tour, he is determined to prioritise his mental health.

 

 

A source told Us Weekly: “Pete remains in his treatment program and would appreciate privacy at this time while he focuses on bettering his mental health.”
