Bɾeakiиg Neωs: Bryson DechamƄeαu Plans To Steρ Awαy From Liv Gσlf As He Prepares Foɾ Upcoмiиg Tour Start
Bryson DeChambeau is set to make his first Tour start away from LIV Golf in two years, with the U.S. Open champion expected to tee it up on the Asian Tour in India in 2025.
DeChambeau became one of the marquee names to give up his PGA Tour membership and join the LIV setup in 2022. Despite his Tour ban, he has not looked back, winning two individual LIV titles, the 2023 Team Championship with Crushers GC, as well as being crowned U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 this summer.
Looking ahead into 2025 though, it has been reported by Hindustan Times that DeChambeau is set for a rare trip away from the LIV setup, by headlining an International Series event in India.

The International Series is played out on the Asian Tour, with the winner of the year-long Order of Merit rewarded with promotion to the LIV roster. The Series has hosted events across Asia and the wider world in recent years and has attracted some big names in the process.
Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson will play on the circuit this week, having entered the Indonesian Masters following a dismal season with LIV that saw him end the year in the drop zone. Now it is expected that DeChambeau will follow in the footsteps of his fellow major winner.
The report claims that all four members of the Crushers team will head to India, with Charles Howell III, Paul Casey, and Indian national Anirban Lahiri set to tee it up. The Asian Tour is yet to officially confirm the India event, but an announcement is expected soon.

The International Series has received the financial support of LIV backers, the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, working as a feeder circuit to the breakaway league. As mentioned, the Series has traveled across both Asia and Europe in recent years, something that appears important to LIV’s ‘grow the game’ efforts.
For DeChambeau, who too sees this as key to the sport. “I feel like there’s multiple ways to grow the game,” he said earlier this year. “Actions speak louder than words, and I feel like with LIV and what we’ve done, where we’ve gone across the world, as well as what I’m able to do on my YouTube platform.
“It has shown a different light to how the game of golf is consumed, how we’re able to provide entertainment, how we’re able to showcase unique personalities and different people. I feel like I have tried to give a different avenue towards consuming the game of golf, which is great.
“If that helps bring people over to want to go hit golf balls on the driving range, that’s what I care about. If it helps inspire a young kid to go up and swing a golf club, that’s what I’m here for.” His expected start in India will be just his second away from the LIV setup (outside of the majors) since making his move, having played the PIF Saudi International in February 2023.
