Sean “Diddy” Combs’ crimes horrified many.
Two new lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the music mogul of sexual assault. Both were filed in New York and include accusations from men who were underage at the time of the assaults.
In one case, the alleged victim was 10 years old at the time. The second case alleges that Sean “Diddy” Combs attacked a teenage boy who was auditioning for the popular MTV reality show “Making the Band,” which is produced by Sean “Diddy” Combs .
In a statement to the BBC, a representative for Sean “Diddy” Combs said the rapper “has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor.” In recent months, more than two dozen lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging rape, drugging, assaulting a minor, sexual intimidation and blackmail.
The rapper is also facing federal criminal charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit extortion. Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
The two lawsuits filed Monday were brought by attorney Tony Buzbee, who said he represents more than 100 alleged victims and plans to file dozens of lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs in the coming weeks.
In the first lawsuit, filed anonymously, the plaintiff alleges that Mr. Combs assaulted him in 2005 when he was 10 years old and an aspiring actor and rapper. To support their son’s entertainment ambitions, his parents enlisted the help of an industry consultant who suggested they travel to New York to meet with music professionals.
During the trip, the consultant arranged an “audition” with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who asked to meet the boy privately, according to the lawsuit. The suit alleges that the consultant escorted the boy to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ hotel room, where he was left alone. The boy performed some raps for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who told the boy he had the potential to be a star.
According to the complaint, Sean “Diddy” Combs asked the boy how determined he was to pursue his dreams, and the boy replied that he would “do anything.”
During the encounter, a third person gave the boy a can of soda, which made him feel “funny,” but at the time, the plaintiff thought those feelings stemmed from the joy of the encounter, the lawsuit states.
The rapper then allegedly stripped the boy and ordered him to perform a sex act. When the boy resisted, Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly attacked him. The plaintiff said in the complaint that the boy passed out and woke up in pain with his pants down.
According to the lawsuit, Sean “Diddy” Combs told him that if he told anyone, he would hurt his parents
In the second lawsuit, an unnamed man alleges he was sexually assaulted by the rap mogul in 2008. The plaintiff was 17 when he auditioned for an MTV reality television competition show produced by Combs.
During multiple auditions, Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly asked the plaintiff how he would handle situations involving sexual pressure. The lawsuit alleges that he and his bodyguard coerced the teen into performing sexual acts.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after being arrested in September on federal charges. The entertainer has been denied bail and will remain in custody until his trial in May of next year. Sean “Diddy” Combs has denied all charges against him.
“Mr. Combs and his legal team have every confidence in the truth and integrity of the judicial process ,” a representative for Sean “Diddy” Combs said. If convicted of extortion, Sean “Diddy” Combs could face life in prison.
