Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, distanced himself from Trump’s recent comments about Vice President Kamala Harris’ mental fitness. While he asserted that he did not believe Harris was “mentally impaired,” he did label her a “crazy liberal.”

Graham clarified, “I’m not saying she’s crazy. I’m saying your party, your policies, are batsh*t crazy,” following his criticism of her record on border issues.

During a campaign rally, Trump claimed, “Kamala is mentally impaired. Joe Biden became mentally impaired… only a mentally disabled person could have allowed this to happen to our country.”

Graham has consistently advised Trump to steer clear of personal attacks and concentrate on policy matters. He emphasized, “When people look at the state of play, they trust you on the economy, the border, inflation, and foreign policy by wide margins. Focus on those.”
