An old tweet from Deion Sanders praising Sean “Diddy” Combs has resurfaced amid Diddy’s recent legal troubles.

Diddy, who was indicted on charges including racketeering and sex trafficking on September 16, has pleaded not guilty and maintains he will fight the charges in court. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, has stated Diddy plans to testify in his defense.

As the focus shifts to those connected to Diddy, Sanders, currently the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, found himself in the spotlight. A user on X unearthed a June 2017 tweet where Sanders expressed excitement about Diddy’s behind-the-scenes film, writing: “I Can’t wait to see this with my sons. Keep on doing you my brother. Much Love! #Truth.”

Their connection deepened when Diddy made a $1 million donation to Howard University and pledged the same amount to Jackson State, where Sanders was previously head coach. Diddy mentioned his commitment during his acceptance speech at the BET Awards, stating, “Also, I’m going to drop another million dollars on Deion Sanders and Jackson State.”
